Privacy policy

Effective 20 September 2026. This policy covers the Drogowskazy app on Android and iOS and this website.

1. Controller

The controller under the GDPR is NetCreator, Poland.

Contact: [email protected].

2. The app does not collect data

Drogowskazy works entirely offline. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, advertising SDKs, or internet connection. The app does not send data to the publisher, Google, Apple, or any third party.

We do not process names, email addresses, location, advertising IDs, quote history off the device, diagnostics, or health data.

This matches the Privacy screen in the app and the Data safety (Google Play) and App Privacy (App Store) forms: no user data is collected or shared.

3. What stays on the device

Locally, only on your phone or tablet, the app may store:

On Android this is in the app’s DataStore. On iOS it is in this app’s UserDefaults. The quote catalogue is bundled with the app and is not downloaded.

The quote of the day is computed from the local date on the device. It needs no account and no server. The interface and catalogue language (Polish or English) follow the device language or the language chosen in this app’s system settings.

4. Notifications

The reminder is optional. The app asks for system permission only after you turn on “Daily guide” in Settings, not at first launch.

Android uses POST_NOTIFICATIONS and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED (to restore the alarm after reboot). iOS uses local calendar notifications. Notification text is built on the device and is not sent anywhere.

You can withdraw permission in the system settings for the app or in Drogowskazy Settings.

5. System backups

Android may include app data in a device backup (a system setting). iOS may include UserDefaults in an iCloud backup if you have backups enabled. That is the operating system, not our server. Uninstalling the app removes its local settings from the device.

6. This website

The site you are reading does not set cookies and has no analytics, advertising pixels, or forms that send data to us.

The hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (IP address, time, requested URL, browser) to run and secure the server. We do not run a separate analytics stack on those logs and we do not link them to the app.

If you email the address above, we process the message only to reply. We do not use those messages for marketing.

7. Sharing

We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertisers. The Share action in the app opens the system share sheet at your request; you choose the recipient.

8. Your rights

Because the app does not collect personal data, we do not keep a file we could rectify or port. You can delete local settings at any time by uninstalling the app or turning the reminder off.

For privacy questions, write to the address in section 1. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.

9. Children

The app is not directed at children in the sense of the stores’ family programmes and does not profile users. The content is religious and formational.

10. Changes

If the app or this site changes how it works (for example if a network connection or analytics is added), we will update this policy, the date at the top, and the declarations in Google Play and App Store Connect.
